Ingenium offers the following Data Centre training courses for understanding the components which need to be addressed in building and designing a Data Centre:
Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP®) – a 2-day course designed to expose participants to the key components of the data centre. It will address how to setup and improve key aspects such as power, cooling, security, cabling, safety, etc, to ensure a high-available data centre. It will also address key operations and maintenance aspects.
Success at the CDCP exam is a pre-requisite for undertaking the CDCS course.

Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS®) – a 3-day course designed to bring participants to the level of a suitable sparring partner with suppliers. They will be able to verify offers provided by vendors for correctness, effectiveness and efficiency. CDCS® is a must-have certification for professional data centre managers and personnel.
The CDCS course builds on the elements covered in the CDCP course, however to a much greater depth.
Success at the CDCS exam is a pre-requisite for undertaking the CDCE course.

Certified Data Centre Expert (CDCE®) – a 5-day course designed to prepare participants to analyse a given business case, perform technical evaluation of a project plan and a set of designs for the implementation of a mission-critical data centre. The course also engages participants in product evaluations and demonstrates how to select equipment, develop equipment test scripts (IET) and integrated performance and validation testing (IPVT).
The CDCE course builds on the knowledge gained in the CDCP and CDCS courses. Participants who pass the CDCE exam will join the industry’s elite data centre project design experts.
Success at the CDCS exam is a pre-requisite for undertaking the CDCE course.

Certified Network Cabling Design Professional (CNCDP®)
– a 2-day course designed to expose participants to in-depth knowledge of designing and installing the data centre cabling system including technical standards, architecture, design of different cabling sub-systems, calculation of material requirements, installation, testing and acceptance.
There are no specific pre-requisites for the CNCDP course. However, participants who already have at least one or two years’ experience in an ICT, data centre or facilities environment may be best suited to undertake this course.
