Recertification
Recertification Program
Due to the constant changes of technology, standards and design methodologies, Exin certified candidates are expected by the industry to keep up-to-date with these changes and are therefore required to upgrade and validate themselves on an on-going basis.
Exin certifications therefore have a 3-year validity with the exception of CTDC / CTIA certifications. The following options are available for other re-certifications:
- Advancing to the next level of Exin certification by attending the next level course and passing the exam. This option is only applicable for CDCP / CDCS / CDCE certifications.
- Recertify to the same level of certification by:
- Resitting the course and exam (ILT, VILT or TOD) at 50% discount on the course fees; or
- Self-study with a Re-certification Package which includes ebook(s) and Exin exam(s).
CTDC / CTIA certifications are linked to the respective version of the ANSI/TIA-942 standard. Holders of an Exin CTDC / CTIA certification are expected to update their certifications when a new version of the ANSI/TIA-942 standard is released, thereby maintaining currency with the standard.
